Liz in the snow

Liz in the snow

This is the third image I've published on the blog from the same walk Liz and I went on in January 2013. It's really not often you get such prodigious snow in London that you can get this much settled snow and I remember the day as a beautiful walk up through Blackheath into the top (south) end of Greenwich Park to look down over London.

We had an almost fairytale wander through the park, with snow lightly falling all around us and this photograph of Liz at the start of the walk is one of my favourites. It doesn't matter to me too much that her eyes aren't in focus (cardinal sin of portrait photography that it is), as the overall feel of the image evokes great memories for me and hopefully shares some of the happiness from that day for those of you reading this.

Other photos from this day I've shared already are A Winter Embrace and Snowy Greenwich Park.
