Lancia Fulvia at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Canon EOS 5D Mark II, 220.0mm, 1/125s, f/6.3, ISO 500

A quick post but one of my favourite photographs: I took this at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2010, up on the rally stage at the top of the hill. Having been to FoS a few times now, this is one of my favourite spots for shooting as you get the cars (at least those that are really going for it) sweeping round the corner and then down the long-ish straight toward you before darting left again round the next bend.

With a decent lens length (this was taken at 220mm on the 5D Mk II), you can get plenty of compression to really pull everything in together and I'm still so pleased with the capture I got of this Fulvia. The fact it's a Fulvia is also nice as my dad had a Fulvia for a while: a replacement later in life of the first car he bought (and then crashed straight away) when a young man.
