Pendleton Estate Winery

Fujifilm X-T1, 55.0mm, 1/320s, f/8.0, ISO 200

I had to do a bit of detective work to figure out where this photo was taken, having not taken a picture of the sign. Luckily, I've traced it back to being the Pendleton Estate Winery in California.

On a trip out to San Francisco with my design team at Funding Circle last May, Candelaria and I drove up to Mendocino at the weekend on a photo trip and to meet another circler, Liz and her husband. Our route took us through wine country and not long after starting along Route 128 we passed this beautiful-looking vineyard so stopped the car to have a look.

Sadly, it was closed so we couldn't have a closer look but the view of the vines stretching up the hillside to the house was lovely, with just enough cloud to provide some rolling changes of light and shadow.
