Lake Windermere

While my new photographic beginnings haven’t quite happened yet this year, we’re just back from a family weekend in Windermere in the Lake District where I at least took some photos.
The trip was a short one — just two nights — to spend some time with friends who had travelled up from Bristol but I made myself carry a big camera each day as we were in a beautiful area and I really need to kick-start my photography again.
With four small kids between us, we didn’t get up into the hills and stuck to easier tourist-y bits but a boat trip did at least offer up some nice views from on the lake.
I had the Fuji GFX 50S with me, using the 32-64mm lens and set in 65:24 panoramic ratio. Not much more to it than that: we were on a family outing so this is just a snapshot to try and get the habit of photography going again.
