Week notes

Week notes #5

Fujifilm X100F, 23.0mm, 1/2400s, f/8.0, ISO 250

My last week notes post went out just as the lockdown began in the UK. The world’s a rather grim place at the moment, so without going into that I thought I’d simply share a few photographs on a theme from the few short forays out I’ve had with the kids for fresh air and exercise.

We’re lucky to be living by the sea these days and able to get some fresh air and good views without straying too far from home. Our eldest has been practising his bike-riding while our youngest has just started to walk.

As the days get lighter and the weather has improved, we’ve generally been walking down to the prom at Whitley Bay in bright daytime sun—not generally favoured of photographers—but I’ve still taken my camera each time for the practice and the harsh light has leant itself towards high-contrast black-and-white processing which I haven’t done for a while.

Check them out below; I hope you enjoy them. They’re mixed across three days but all in the same location and processed with the same base style in Lightroom.
