I've published a photo from Ferndale before, showing the old Fire Department building. I was there on a blindingly sunny day which just seemed to fit the Victorian architecture in this small Californian town.

This photo I just had to grab as I walked past, with the matching of classic architecture and car (plus a little glimpse of a VW Beetle to one side) in the early afternoon sunshine.

With a just-about-dead-on perspective and some extra perspective correction in Lightroom, the right angles set the picture off nicely (no set square pun intended). Looking again now, there's a bit much fringing around the building against the blue sky so I might go back and have another pass at tidying that up one day.
