Beware - cliff edge

Beware - cliff edge

Here's an older photo from the archive: not long after I'd moved down to London, Ken and I drove down to Dover on a super sunny day and walked the white cliffs which is oddly under the stewardship of the National Trust.

It's a really lovely set of trails along the cliffs and I'd like to go back sometime soon; I miss the old jaunts I used to make out to various coastal locations with my cameras.

This warning sign is on one of the gates you pass as you walk along the cliffs and the fact it's so worn down—the paint stripped off the lettering and surround—gives it a lovely weather-beaten character to go with the serious message.
