Switched to Habari

It's all change here recently. Last weekend I set up a new server and finally got mod_rails working, tonight I've made the switch from Wordpress to Habari. Still no custom design though.

I didn't have a particularly huge need to switch other than curiosity and the fact that Habari has some particularly beautiful user interface features thanks to Michael Heilemann.

It's also because I want to finally do something with this site and a change of software will hopefully peak my interest just enough to get me to start playing with it and finally get my own design back on the site. I think I'd like to go back to something similar to the design I had a couple of years ago that got added to the Super Clean section of Design Meltdown. I like that lime green colour.

St Paul's Cathedral, London Habari also has cool media management and integration with flickr, so it's nice and easy to include my photos now. Hopefully that means I'll post more of my photos on the blog from now on.
