... or some other Hollywood-style tagline to suitably over-egg the release of a new website.
The company I work for (
Net Effects), is moving servers and moving designs with it. The old website wasn't great in terms of either visuals or accessibility and so it was finally decided that a re-design was in order to better represent the company and its skillset.
I'll hopefully get around to doing a proper case study to actually appear on the new website, but basically the aim with the new design was to create a good-looking, clean, accessible website that matched the print brochures and other stationary that already existed. As Net Effects specialises in accessible and standards-compliant websites, this one had to be super-clean code.
The site as launched is fully standard XHTML 1.0 Strict, as well as valid CSS, with small things like a quick link to the content for screen-readers. We're also working on an accessibility toolbar to further aid accessibility and will appear on the Net Effects site before being rolled out on many more.
