Liz with guidebook

My wife, Liz, loves history and a good guidebook, and as a result I've been building a mini series of photos from our travels of Liz standing reading the guidebook for wherever we are.

This photo is from Venice, our first holiday abroad together and I love the richness of the colours from the walls and foliage, along with Liz in her purple jacket and mitts (it was November).

I've applied a little perspective correction in Lightroom but there's no getting round the fact that I needed to be standing over to the right a bit to get a more dead-on shot which would have made a better photo.
