Park days

Fujifilm X100F, 23.0mm, 1/150s, f/4.0, ISO 200

On a quick scroll through unprocessed photos from the past few years, I stumbled across this image from a nearby park that I actually had processed, just never marked as ‘done’ in Lightroom.

The park has large playing fields flanked by the old waggonway, lined with trees.

The waggonways were a network of small railways for getting coal carts from the mines to the river, ready to load onto boats, which have now been turned into public cycle paths.

In one section of the park, there's a triangular stand of gnarled trees that have been left between the waggonway and the fields, with a couple of small paths worn through them.

With nice low, winter light they can create some nice mini compositions and I got this one on a walk with the kids a couple of years ago.
